Photography workshop presented by Matt Horspool
Matt Horspool is an award-winning adventure travel photographer based in Sydney, Australia. Born in South Korea and raised in rural New South Wales, Matt's passion for the natural world was ignited by the captivating images in National Geographic magazines during his youth. This early fascination led him to embark on extensive travels, having explored over 50 countries across six continents.
Matt's diverse photographic portfolio encompasses aerial photography, underwater imagery, landscapes, and portraits. His work has been featured in various print and online publications and has been recognised in several prestigious photography awards, such as the Australian Photography Awards and the Redbull Illume competition.
In addition to his freelance work, Matt serves as a Photography Guide for Aurora Expeditions, leading photography tours to some of the world's most remote corners, including the polar regions. His role allows him to share his expertise and passion for adventure photography with fellow enthusiasts.
In 2017, Matt embarked on our VISION Project across Central Asia and has worked closely with OM SYSTEM as an official ambassador since then. What he loves most about photography is the incredible locations you document and the amazing people you meet. Sharing in those ‘Wow’ moments amplifies the experience in a way no other vocation can compare.
