Our digital education programs explore the many ways in which the sea has shaped Australia and continues to transform us today.
Our virtual programs are:

- an opportunity for your students to connect with museum collections and experts, wherever you are!
Book an online workshop
Connect with a museum educator in a private Zoom meeting for your class at a time and date of your choosing (fees apply).

These special events are free for all students, teachers and homeschool educators across Australia.

Preparing for a virtual excursion
Virtual excursions can be used to introduce or reinforce classroom learning at any point during the unit of study.
Teachers will receive a Zoom webinar invitation after registering for this event using the links provided.
To participate in a virtual excursion, you will need:
- Internet access
- Smartboard or projector
- Keyboard
- Camera and microphone (private bookings only)
After each session, teachers will receive links to the collection items used in the presentation and additional resources from the museum website for follow up activities.
Upcoming sessions will start at:
- 2pm for all states observing Australian Eastern Standard Time (NSW, ACT, Qld, Vic & Tas)
- 1.30pm for SA and NT
- 12pm for WA
