Discounts are available for group bookings and we can even organise a specially tailored program for your visit to ensure a truly immersive experience.

Visiting groups of 10 people or more enjoy generous admission price and food discounts.

Volunteer-led guided tours are avaliable on request. Please note that for these tours, a confirmed booking 2 weeks in advance of your visit is recommended.

Vacation and childcare groups

Vacation care or childcare groups can enjoy a full day of organised activities every school holidays. Our vacation care program runs from 10 am – 4 pm and includes a self-guided experience with access to:

  • Core galleries and special exhibitions. See what's on.
  • Film screenings and performances. 
  • A session in our Kids on Deck creative activity space OR Creative activity take-home packs featuring the latest paper crafts and activity sheets.
  • Entry to the vessels open on the day of your visit- this may include HMAS Vampire, the submarine HMAS Onslow, Tall Ship James Craig and HMB Endeavour (subject to vessel capacity and current safety restrictions).

$15 per child for groups of 10 or more children and free entry for 3 adults per 10 children.
 

The museum currently is unable to offer bus parking due to maintenance work in the carpark. Smaller vehicles such as mini-buses may be accommodated on special request. Speak to the Bookings Officer about special access needs.

Seaside stories

Dementia and reminiscence

Seaside Stories are onsite reminiscence programs for people with dementia and their carers.

These programs aim to promote story sharing, and to encourage social interaction and connection.
