As we take Encounters 2020 around Australia we need interested people to help us bring the experience to life.

We are looking for volunteers to help us in a variety of roles in the 29 locations where the EndeavourHMB and the exhibition Looking Back Looking Forward will be open to schools and the general public.

We are looking for people who enjoy sharing knowledge and educating a range of people, big and little! The roles include guiding on the ship, helping on shore with the travelling exhibition and assisting with merchandise and ticketing.

Full training is provided on all aspects of guiding and the Encounters program.

So if you are a good communicator, enjoy working in a team and are interested in helping our visitors have a positive experience, we encourage you to apply. We are seeking volunteers who are able.*

If you are interested fill out the form and our volunteer coordinators will be in touch.

*As the ship is an accurate replica of the 18th Century Endeavour, it unfortunately presents several accessibility issues. These include access via steps, ladders and confined spaces with significantly low head room. We make every effort to accommodate persons with specific requirements and a have a range of roles available.
